Happy New Year to everybody!
New Year, new prices (even if this might not be such a good idea at the moment, given that the financial crisis is ravaging our economic systems). Please click on the following link for a few examples of job board price changes in Germany - even if you are not familiar with the language, you will get the gist of it.
But let’s talk about some innovative pricing (even if I still have objections towards some of them). Today, I received a press release from the French engineering job site Jobingénieurs since they are going to introduce pay-per-application. A rather risky model when it comes to generating revenue, however, beneficial for recruiters, if you ask me. Engineers are scarce so that companies will not receive many CVs in general.
Tariffs show two options
- either you post job advertisement as usual and you pay to post (today: 300,00 euros)
- or you buy a package of CVs (e.g. 10 applications for 2 months) and you can post as many jobs as you want as long as the 10 applications haven’t been received yet.
The full rate card is here and the information I was referring to above is on page 11 out of 12.
Happy reading and happy recruiting.
