Who would have seen that one coming? The multiple job posting service provider Broadbean found themselves acquired by AND/ DMGT, the selfsame owner of the British job board Jobsite.co.uk and the Jobs Group.

The thing is that a competitor of Broadbean, Conkers is also part of the Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) and UK industry bloggers and experts are wondering what this could look like in the future. As Dan McGuire, Broadbean’s Managing Director, writes in an open letter, it will be “business as usual”.

One thing is for sure: with AND/ DMGT on board, Broadbean will be able to accelerate their international market ambitions (which they have already started to display on their Homepage for a few months already: there are French and Dutch language versions of the site). This is definitely a good move for the British posting tool provider, and HR communication agencies all over Europe should watch out when the technology hits the Continent’s shores.
